Lockdown | How I have been spending my Covid 19 Lockdown
Like most people I know, the Covid 19 pandemic has drastically affected the Corporatewear and Uniform supply business sector. Airlines were grounded, Banks and Building societies were closed or working from home, High Street Retailers were closed and uniforms and corporatewear was not top of the agenda for anyone.
I finished a contracted position in April 2020 and then the pandemic took hold and scuppered any hope of getting a new position in the Corporatewear design market. So, after a short period of panic, I pulled my brave pants on and decided to make the most of the time I had to look at what I really wanted. I had time to re-evaluate what would my ideal job be and how did I want to spend the rest of my career.
I happened on TechPixies Free Social Media training and was hooked, I sighed up for the full course Social Media Magic and met the most inspiring, supportive and fun group of women. I have learned lots, how to market myself and my business on all the social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest.
